I thought 2003 was a busy, busy year...but 2004 and 2005 were even busier, and 2006, and then 2007, followed by a hectic 2008... and now here we are almost halfway through 2009! Where does the time go?!!???!

From feature articles in the New York Times to interviews on television and National Public Radio to appearances at book stores and galleries across the country, the reaction to Uncle Andy's was nothing short of phenomenal. And now I'm anxiously awaiting the release of my follow-up, Uncle Andy's Cats, this summer.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and words of encouragement. I look forward to meeting and talking with more of you as I "make the rounds" again this year.

The Many Lives of Andrew Warhola

While the world knew him as Andy Warhol, Pop Art impresario, James Warhola knew him simply as Uncle Andy. Warhola, an illustrator of children’s books, provides an inside look at his uncle’s family background and transformation from a successful illustrator to an artistic innovator whose work forever changed the art world. Following his talk, Warhola will be on hand to sign his books Uncle Andy’s and Uncle Andy’s Cats, available for purchase in the Museum store.
