The Mad Humor
of it All!
James Warhola’s career at Mad Magazine started by painting covers for their paperbacks in 1980. After doing such classics as “Monster Mad” and “Son of Mad Sucks” (featuring their famous mascot, Alfred E. Neuman), the editors have used his talents for covers and interiors of the magazine ever since. In 2003, he had the Mad distinction of being a question on the show, Jeopardy. Besides being associated with a famous satire magazine, Warhola was also one of the original artists for the popular Garbage Pail Kid card series produced by Topps.
